Membership is open to men and women over the age of 18. Chaplains must present proof of satisfactory Christian ordination in their church or denomination.
Our low $89 annual dues (plus a $75 enrollment fee year-one) includes a background check, certificate of membership, an embroidered shoulder patch, ID card, and access to our exclusive membership and training materials such as a uscoc.org email account in our nonprofit Google Workspace. Membership is not automatic, but will lend a certain amount of credibility to your personal ministry efforts.

US Conference of Chaplains
Please check our TRAINING tab in the drop down menu on this page (ABOUT).
The US Conference of Chaplains is a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization as determined by the IRS. The National Offices are headed by the Chief Chaplain who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for overall policy and objectives and is assisted by a Deputy Chief Chaplain and up to three other Directors.
Ministry Teams in local communities are a great way to expand outreach. State Chaplains are needed in every state. The country is defined by five sections, each with an Area Chaplain. In The Conference the word Chaplain is a verb.
Our handbook the "Chaplain's Compendium" will be made available to every new member. Every member must also complete a basic level of training during the initial 90 day probation. It is structured to be obtainable for everyone with a manageable sacrifice of time and effort.
